As you may be aware Telstra is currently trialing the next phase of mobile technology , which is called 5G. 5G mobile internet is promising faster speeds of access to the internet on mobile devices than what is currently offered by 4G. Telecos around the world are currently trialing it to bring to main stream devices by 2019. It is expected to allow consumers to download HD videos at a faster rate than our current broadband speeds. As you may have heard by now, Microsoft revealed their new Xbox One X, marketed as the most powerful console in the world. It was revealed ahead of the annual E3 Expo in Los Angeles. The new Xbox has support for full 4k gaming. It is also more power than the PS4 pro as it has 12 GB RAM and is the smallest Xbox made. It also features a 4K UHD Blu Ray Player for movies. We have been busy at DAB Technology Blog on the last few months and now we're back with a new Technology article on Apple's WWDC earlier this month. As you may be aware Apple announced at their annual WWDC new software updates for Apple devices. Software updates were to iOS, tvOS, WatchOS and MacOS. All are available in beta for developers now.
